How can I protect my privacy

Any information you share with us on the platform is securely stored, and encrypted, according to the strict standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and 256-bit encryption.

How can I make payment on the app?

App Usage

This is quite simple. When you register, an e-wallet will be created for you. You can fund your e-wallet either by card payment or bank transfer. Your e-wallet acts as your prepaid account which you can use to pay for your consultations and other transactions.

How do I pay for services?

App Usage

It's easy! Once you've registered as a patient, you'll automatically receive an E-wallet. You can fund your e-wallet by linking your card or through bank transfer. Your e-wallet can be used to pay for consultations and any other in-app transaction.

How can I book an appointment with a doctor?

Patients

  1. Download the HealthAid Medical Service App on Play store or App store.
  2. Register as a patient by filling in all required details.
  3. Open the app and click on the "See a consultant" tab.
  4. Pick your desired medical practitioner and proceed to make payment.
  5. Once your payment has been confirmed, you will get a message that tells you the date and time of your consultation.

How much does it cost to register on the app?

Patients

Registration is free on the HealthAid app. However, you will only be able to perform limited actions until you fund your e-wallet.

How can I speak with a doctor?

Patients

Once you’ve logged into the app, you’ll find a tab that says “Request a Doctor”. The app will search for the doctor closest to you, once the doctor accepts the request, that's it.

For Online Consultations: all you have to do is request a virtual consultation. Once you have successfully requested, a doctor will meet with you shortly.

Where can I find my consultation record?

Patients

Both patients and doctors’ have access to the patient's medical records on the HealthAid App. To have access to your medical records. Simply

  1. Login into your HealthAid account on the app
  2. Click on the drop down menu at the top left corner of the app
  3. Select Medical records 
  4. You’ll find all your medical information from consultations with HealthAid doctors/patients.

How often can I use the app?

Patients

Once you have completed the signup process, you can access the app as many times as you want and request a consultation.

Are my personal information with doctors secure?

Patients

Your personal details will not be shared with any outside party. You can confidently ask even the most sensitive questions, knowing that our doctors are bound by oath to keep it private.

How can I sign up as a doctor on the app?

Doctors

Fill the registration form and attach the required documents. You will get a confirmation mail when your documents are verified. Visit HealthAid to get started.

How do I get patients?

Doctors

Once you register on the app, your basic information will be uploaded to our doctor's database. Patients will come to you by requesting doctors and booking consultations with you.
