The position of your headache is one way to diagnose its root cause, sometimes headaches could mean tumors, cancer or an aneurysm waiting to happen. Apart from the headache position, the type of pain should also be paid attention to. The pain type and position can help your doctor narrow down the cause when you go for a diagnosis.

  1. Back of Head: Headaches and pain at the back of your head might signify migraine or arthritis in your upper spine. 

  1. Top of the Head: Headache at the top of your head can be linked to migraines, hypertensions, and an aneurysm. Constant headache at the top of your head should be diagnosed immediately to prevent fatal consequences.

Dull slight Pain

Dull pains in the head are very common and are often tied to stress and anxiety. When we push our body beyond limit, it gives us signs that it might be on the verge of breaking down and headaches form part of the sign. 

A migraine might be the reason for this pain and there are certain triggers. This kind of pain can be triggered by light or noise. Watch out for the patterns and how the pain is always triggered, so that you can avoid them and be able to explain in detail when you see a doctor.
